“ A+ for the salad bar! Everything was very fresh and there was a good variety of items, including 3 pots of soup. There was great, friendly service from our server, Jade. She always had a smile and was patient with our questions and ordering. The food arrived quickly and hot. This was a random stop traveling home from Labor Day vacation, but we hope to make it a new tradition for future travels. We will recommend it to all our family and friends. They were out of T-Bone steak, so that was my One Star ding on Food. And the Atmosphere was nice and pleasant, but I am not a fan of Country Music. 5 stars Overall for me! ”

“ Good ol’ Hood Truck Stop Diner where the menu is less a list of options and more a polite suggestion to lower your expectations. You walk in and it’s immediately clear: you’re getting bacon and eggs or a hamburger. That’s not the menu, that’s the lifestyle. You ask for anything else and the room gets quiet like you just disrespected a family tradition. The food is… a masterclass in mediocrity. Not bad enough to send back, not good enough to tell anyone about. It tastes like someone described food to a cook who’s been emotionally checked out since 1987. And somehow it’s still a little overpriced, which honestly feels bold. The waitresses were nice like genuinely nice the kind of nice that says, “Yeah… I know. I work here too.” The building? Oh, it’s got character. And by character, I mean it looks like it survived several decades out of pure stubbornness. Clean, technically… but it’s that old-school clean. The kind where the floor makes a slight peeling sound when you walk, like it’s not ready to let you go yet. And the smell? Somewhere between industrial cleaner and a warning label. The place is massive. Seating for 100. Occupied by 4 people and a quiet understanding that nobody is in a rush to be here. You just know truckers stop in for two reasons: It exists The food might reboot their entire digestive system like a hard reset Did I hate it? No. Did I like it? Also no. Did it feel like an experience? Unfortunately, yes. Would I come back? Only if my car broke down nearby and my phone died at the same time and even then I’d consider just sitting in silence first. Would I recommend it? Absolutely… if your backup plan is gas station nachos and poor decision-making. ”
“ This was our first time here. The service was quite slow, some of the food came out lukewarm and was just ok. The serving size was generous, especially the omelets. Will we return? Probably not. ”
“ We like trying to go to new places, so we decided to go here cuz the reviews were good and its something different. The place looked clean and in good condition. A little disappointed cuz the sprite i got seemed flat and the wrap I got had cheese it in. I asked the server if it had cheese in it and he said he didnt know. I should have made him go check but I didn't so it was my fault. Over all the food was ok other my sprite and wrap. My daughter liked her pancakes and my fiancee liked her wings. The only thing I would suggest is if you are a server please know the menu a little more even if you dont work everyday. ”
